Pain Points

Design Challenge

How can I help small business owners in the Allapattah neighborhood of Miami: to secure capital to grow their businesses, to own

their storefronts, and to increase their

presence in their own neighborhood?

Possible Solutions and Ideation

Final Solution

Create an app that simplifies the complex

and often confusing process of applying for

a small business loan.

Why?

•Without a share in the "market" business owners are voiceless because they don't have ownership or a stake in their own community.

•70% of business owners have not received a

small business loan in the past 5 years.

•69% of business owners would like to participate in business development.

•With access to capital, small business owners can grow their business.
